Ray Gun Magazine
It was serendipity that I met David Carson at a Seattle design studio after graduate school. He was in town to give a lecture for the AIGA and I was visiting the city. After reviewing my portfolio, he offered me a job on the music magazine, Ray Gun. I flew out to California the following week to be a design intern. Because Ray Gun was the antithesis of my Yale studies, it broadened my understanding of design and approach to my work.
